Dakotah! Sport and Fitness to Host Annual Turkey Trot 5K on Nov. 19

The Meadows at Mystic Lake Will Serve as Race Site

Prior Lake, Minn. On Saturday, November 19, Dakotah! Sport and Fitness will sponsor its annual Turkey Trot 5K. The 3.1-mile event will start at Dakotah! and wind through The Meadows at Mystic Lake, the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community’s award-winning golf course.

Registration is $25 through November 16 or until the race fills and is available online at active.com or by picking up a form at Dakotah!.

The 5K starts at 8 a.m., with an awards ceremony to follow. Awards will be given to the first, second, and third place overall male and female finishers and age group winners. All registered runners will receive a t-shirt.

5K followed by kids’ fun run

A half-mile kids’ fun run will be held at 8:45 a.m.; the registration fee for the fun run is $10, though no pre-registration is needed.

Dakotah! is a full-service health club featuring an aquatic center, cardio room, gymnasium, ice center, rock wall, running/walking track, strength training area, and bowling.
