Dakotah! Sport and Fitness to Host Annual Turkey Trot 5K on Nov. 23

Prior Lake, Minn. — On Saturday, Nov. 23, Dakotah! Sport and Fitness will host its annual Turkey Trot 5K. The 3.1-mile event will start at the facility and wind through The Meadows at Mystic Lake, the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community’s award-winning golf course.

Registration is now open and costs $30 per participant. To sign up for the event in advance, visit dakotahsport.com/turkeytrot or call 952-445-9400. Same-day registration will also be available at the race site beginning at 6:45 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, for a fee of $35. All registrants will receive a race t-shirt.

The 5K starts at 8 a.m., with an awards ceremony to follow. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top finisher in each age group.

Kids Half-Mile Fun Run to follow 5K
Dakotah! Sport and Fitness is also hosting a half-mile fun run for kids immediately following the 5K at 8:45 a.m. The registration fee for the fun run is $15, though pre-registration is not required to participate.

Dakotah! Sport and Fitness is a full-service health club featuring an aquatic center, cardio room, gymnasium, ice center, rock wall, running/walking track, strength training area, and bowling.
