Fifth Annual Winter Bird Count Scheduled for January 3
Calling all volunteers! Join the SMSC Natural Resources Department and the Urban Bird Collective on Saturday, January 3, for the fifth annual Winter Bird Count. Volunteers will count birds within a 15-mile radius with the data helping to understand the well-being of bird populations.
No birding experience is necessary, experienced walk leaders and count volunteers will lead the event. Volunteers should plan to meet at Playworks LINK Event Center (2200 Trail of Dreams, Prior Lake, MN 55372) at 7:30am.
