Nomadic Entertainment Group Brings CLUB NOMADIC to the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community’s Mystic Lake Casino Hotel

Mystic Lake Will Serve as Exclusive Home for Widely Popular Club NOMADIC Nightlife Venue

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Nomadic Entertainment Group announced today that Club NOMADIC, the world-famous traveling night life experience that served as the epicenter of entertainment last year in Houston, will call the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community’s Mystic Lake Casino Hotel home for four days of world-class performances leading into and after the big game, February 1-4, 2018. Club NOMADIC at Mystic Lake represents another venue in the Greater Minneapolis area that will showcase some of the world’s biggest performing acts.

“Few would argue the excitement and energy level that last year’s Club NOMADIC brought to the city of Houston,” said Jack Murphy, Nomadic Entertainment president. “It was the most talked about venue in the city the weeks leading up to the big game and we intend to exceed that level of vigor in cooperation with the team at Mystic Lake to deliver great entertainment and an unmatched nightlife experience to the region.”

Club NOMADIC at Mystic Lake promises to feature four star-studded nights of entertainment at the multi-level, constructed-from-the-ground-up nightclub on the Mystic Lake property. Nomadic Entertainment and Mystic Lake will break ground on the 64,000 square-foot facility in late September with the goal of completing construction before December. The venue is designed with tiered mezzanines to provide a private and one-of-a-kind, white-glove experience for ticket holders.

“There is incredible synergy between Club NOMADIC and Mystic Lake. We both specialize in providing first-class entertainment and are excited to work together to create an unmatched, VIP experience for guests before and after the big game,” said Angela Heikes, president and CEO of the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community’s Gaming Enterprise, which owns and operates Mystic Lake Casino Hotel and Little Six Casino.

Previous iterations of Club NOMADIC have featured performances by Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, The Chainsmokers, Dave Matthews Band, Pharrell Williams, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, among others. Announcements on talent and when tickets will go on sale will be made in the very near future.

Murphy is a veteran of delivering world-class venues around the big game having produced unthinkable venues that have hosted the biggest names in entertainment. In 2018, he will expand his vision for premier nightlife experiences for fans of a variety of genres. Beyond Club NOMADIC at Mystic Lake, his Nomadic Entertainment Group recently announced Nomadic LIVE! at The Armory venue in downtown Minneapolis.

“We have learned that there is demand for these kinds of experiences around major, culture-altering events and believe the Twin Cities will enthusiastically support both venues,” said Murphy. “With Mystic Lake, we are looking at creative and technological ways to connect both venues and performances to give fans the ultimate entertainment experience.”
